Urgent Care

We now offer Urgent Care appointments most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! Urgent Care appointments are accepted based on the priority of urgency, so we recommend calling us at (775) 800-1294. Walk-ins are not recommended as we cannot guarantee admittance. Urgent Care appointments will likely be admitted as drop-off appointments, where the doctor will contact you via phone after the examination. Please note that our Urgent Care exam fee is $110. Upon communication with the doctor, a 50% deposit will be required to proceed with diagnostics and further care, with the remainder due at the time of pick-up.

We handle emergencies as long as we have the doctor/staff and space availability, from the hours of 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday thru Friday. We highly encourage you to call us prior to arrival in the event we are unable to take on any additional emergency cases and need to refer out.

If you have a pet emergency after hours, please call either the Animal Emergency Center or Sierra Veterinary Specialists. These emergency centers will send us a record of your visit so we can perform any necessary follow-up care for your pet.​​​​​​​

ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center

If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, you may also call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435. In some cases, a consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.
